Hi,

Can enchantment scrolls ever work on Artifacts? I've tried a few on
Cammithrim to no avail. And do multile regen items stack, or is there no
point having >1?

Relatedly, I just cleared a vault on L47 (A Dreadmaster dropped Raal,
which is great news, though means I'm using the bow even less now), and
now I have Too Much Stuff again. My thoughts:

Paurhach is an obvious discard, as spellcasting is affected by them

I'm not sure about Thalkettoth vs Rohirrim - the speed boost is handy,
but rSound would stop me getting stunned. I'm not sure I'm ever going to
use Arvedui?

My Magi cloak is better than Thingol, so ditch that? One of the Elven
Cloaks at home might otherwise be better, but I need rConf.

Boots-wise, I keep the stability-slippers as a swap (not least because
having WIS swapped with another stat would be bad), but are the speed
boots better than Thror?

Azaghal I keep as a fire-swap; I used to mainly wield Aglarang for the
speed, but in fact seem to be mostly using Ulmo for the various defenses
(and handy melee). Maybe ditch Aglarang? I'm not sure if the BoC is
worth keeping as a chaos-resist-swap? I think the aggravation of
Anguirel means I should ditch it?

Can enchantment scrolls ever work on Artifacts? I've tried a few on
Cammithrim to no avail. And do multile regen items stack, or is there no
point having >1?
All my comments are based on 3.0 and are probably accurate through 3.3.
I don't know what mods are in 3.5.

It was *hard* to enchant past +10, and artifacts enchanted half as often
as non-artifacts. Regen is like all the other powers, you have it or
you don't.

I'm not sure about Thalkettoth vs Rohirrim - the speed boost is handy,
but rSound would stop me getting stunned. I'm not sure I'm ever going to
use Arvedui?
Thalkettoth is occasionally endgame useful, rare but conceivable.
Arvedui < Rohirrim < Isildur. You can toss Arvedui, and toss Rohirrim
when you get Isildur.

My Magi cloak is better than Thingol, so ditch that? One of the Elven
Cloaks at home might otherwise be better, but I need rConf.
The resist that is occasionally hard to cover is elec.
Thingol doesn't cover that, so probably you won't regret dumping it.

You might consider wearing the hat of serenity. That leaves you
vulnerable to blindness, but with resistance to light and dark that is
not so bad. You would need to have a plan for what to do if you
encounter something faster than you that hits to blind, e.g. staff of
destruction or blindness swap.

Boots-wise, I keep the stability-slippers as a swap (not least because
having WIS swapped with another stat would be bad), but are the speed
boots better than Thror?
You do not have enough HP. You may encounter a vault with monsters that
could kill you with one breath even at full HP. Thror might let you
safely clear a vault you'd be better to stay out of otherwise. That's
also a reason to consider using Thunderfist mentioned in other post.

I don't think so - AIUI aggravation still means all nearby monsters wake
up, regardless of stealth etc.

You lose 25% from maximum spellpoints, but you regnerate twice as fast.
Regeneration rate is proportional to maximum, so the net effect is that
you accumulate mana 50% faster wearing Paurhach as opposed to no regen.
IMO that more than offsets the drop of 25% in maximum.

A fair number of monsters have blindness spells, too...
They don't cast them that often, and you probably save, and when you
don't a curing potion, even CLW, will fix it. Not a significant worry.
The problem with hit to blind is they blind you every turn, and you may
never get unblinded.
